The Hills Supex Hoist is an ultra heavy-duty clothes line that is ideal for a large family wash, effortlessly managing a king size duvet. The Hills dryer is equipped with 35 metres of drying line that will hold a large amount of washing with the 3.27m turning diameter giving your washing a good fast drying time. This Hills dryer has strong easy clean steel core lines and an easy to operate hoist mechanism which can be raised and lowered by the winding handle. The head on this dryer can be adjusted from 1.68m to 2.12m and is on a 57mm main support pole. This Clothes Line is a fixed line which means the arms remain open and cannot be closed.
Please note: Below the dotted line, we recommend a 65cm hole into the ground to cement the rotary dryer in.

I placed my order on the website on Friday afternoon, and it was delivered the following Tuesday morning. I dug the deep hole that afternoon, the following day I erected the post using quick setting cement, then bolted on the arms. The next day I threaded the line and the Hills Hoist was in operation. With a bit of care and a spirit level, the installation was not a problem.

This is our second we have had. We left the first one that was 12 yrs old in our last house as I couldn’t remove it from when I concreted it in. Did to good a job of securing it haha
As soon as the delivery driver came staggering up the drive under the weight of the dryer, I knew it would be robust. We live in an exposed area and have had numerous dryers break, and so on the basis that if you buy cheap, you buy twice, I invested in this dryer. The manufacturer recommends the post is concreted directly into the ground into an 800mm deep hole. I therefore returned the 300mm long ground socket back to the laundry company for a refund. The rest of the assembly was straightforward and the finished product can be best described as industrial quality - my neighbour even commented that the local airport had reported radar interference since I put it up. The dryer has been in use for 2 weeks now in some high winds and it is brilliant. I would highly recommend it and I expect it to last for at least twice as long as the 10 year guarantee. Think of the time and money you could save by not having to keep renewing cheap fragile dryers. This is an excellent investment.

We have purchased this airer as the last one we had, which was the same model but an earlier version, gave up after almost 40 years of continuous service. We were delighted to be able to obtain the same model, though updated.
The service from the Laundry Company was also excellent. Having ordered the airer on a Friday afternoon, it arrived the following Wednesday morning and we assembled it on the Wednesday afternoon. This is a product and a company to be recommended.
