We had another superb show at ECOBUILD 2008, with our focus on supporting the new code for sustainable homes, this basically boils down to all new houses meeting an increasingly strict set of guidelines for carbon emissions and general energy efficiency.

The Laundry Company already supply a large number of new and ECO house builders with Clothes Airers (to negate the need for electricity guzzling clothes dryers) and Recycling Bins (all new homes must have one!) One of the highlights of the show was a visit by Oliver Heath of Changing Rooms fame and him placing an order with us for a 60 Litre Recycling Bin for ECOHOUSE at this years Ideal Home Show.

This months special offer is a superb taper designer bin in stainless steel - exclusive to the Laundry Company and reduced in price for a short time. We have revamped our Recycling product range with new Recycle Bins including a 50 Litre duo recycler from simplehuman as well as a range of Child and Pet Proof slim bins with lockable lids and wheels.

Our expansion of Replacement Ironing Board covers led us to the conclusion that no one supplier could offer the range that we needed in suitable, stylish but tasteful patterns - so we decided to design our own!

Featuring superb designs and extra plush padding as well as easy to fit pull strings with easy-clip toggles, the new range will be added once they get to us at the end of March. New additions to the AirerShop are to include brand new designs from Leifheit to include Linomotion - a portalble rotary airer for easy use in a garage etc. and Combifix - a pull out 2 section fixed airer, both significant in the maximum utilisation of limited space.
