Home Recycling Bins Take On A Stylish New Appearance

Let’s face it – recycling your rubbish used to be confined to hanging a bunch of carrier bags at the end of your worktop – or even worse some stinky old cardboard boxes in the garage.

Determined to bring this depressing image of recycling out of the dark ages, the Laundry Company has developed some impressive new recycling bins that not only make the whole job of recycling much easier (and few of us now escape this council-imposed task!) but also the bins look good enough to display without our friends thinking we have gone completely and utterly Eco.

Brian Trappett, Marketing Manager of the Laundry Company told us; “We wanted to find a multi compartment recycling bin that was big enough to hold plenty of bottles, tins and cardboard boxes, whilst looking good enough to put on general display in my kitchen. The result was our 60 litre recycling bin. The final problem to solve was what to do once the recycling bin was filled? (Our council only collects our recycling waste every other week). The result was the liner manager which I keep outdoors – once the recycling bin is full I just transfer the waste to the recycling manager and this is then ready to empty into the council containers on the bi-weekly collection.”
